I'm a children's book and nature illustrator living along Pigeon Lake near Peterborough, Canada with my husband Jim and our chatty cat Snooli.

From the start, I've found my inspiration in nature and tried to share that profound connection through my art. I enjoy portraying animals with a mix of sass, humour, and tenderness and bringing their environments to life. Usually I  work with pencil, crayon, and all sorts of water media on paper.  The scans are collaged with digital touch-ups.

I enjoy exploring the countryside, swimming, visiting art exhibits and museums, cuddling Miss Snooli and getting lost in a good mystery.

I've had the pleasure of illustrating a wide range of projects including books, covers, magazines, coins, retail packaging, posters, museum exhibits, and film.
